JAMMU: Amid a spike in terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a meeting on Saturday with the chiefs of Army, BSF, CRPF, RAW, Intelligence Bureau, and police, asking them to devise a strategy to crush terrorism.
“We must launch meticulous and well-planned counter-terrorist operations with greater synergy among all agencies to wipe out terrorists and those aiding and abetting them,” LG said.
He directed forces to ensure zero cross-border infiltration, as per a Raj Bhawan source.
Later, Sinha held a separate meeting with Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi, who had earlier discussed with the top brass of Northern and Western Commands and police the mechanism to seal infiltration routes in hilly areas and dismantle the terror network.
BSF DG Nitin Agrawal reviewed the operational preparedness of troops along International Border in Jammu sector on Sunday.
