Recently, he has gained attention in his locality, with locals referring to him as ‘Captain Dhruv’. Jurel, a Kargil war veteran’s son, has been called up to the India Test team for the upcoming series against England. The 22-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman was surprised to receive a call-up from the BCCI, confirming his selection for the India Test team for the England series.
