Taylor Swift is having a great December! The Grammy winner just topped Spotify’s list of world’s most streamed artists in 2024 and her blockbuster Eras tour came to a close in Canada. Despite a busy itinerary Taylor typically saves some time to cheer her boyfriend and NFL athlete Travis Kelce during his matches. Last week, Taylor Swift attended a game where Kelce’s team Kansas City Chiefs achieved a close victory and fans had hoped that Taylor would be able to attend the match which was held at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.
However, Taylor could not make it, as she was in Vancouver wrapping up the final show of her highly successful Eras Tour, which featured 149 performances. The tour series spanning two years featured music from the artist’s 18 years of discography. It recorded unprecedented ticket sale registrations across the globe and even became an economic boon for some countries.

The success of the Eras tour and Taylor’s recent releases kept her in the headlines. Needless to say, her famous boyfriend Travis Kelce also garnered some major visibility. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was there to cheer Taylor at many of her pit stops during the tour and even made his debut on-stage in June at London’s Wembley stadium where he accompanied his girlfriend for her performance.

A tuxedo and top hat-donning Kelce made his surprise appearance during “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart”, during a comic segment he joined showmen in tuxes trying to ‘revive’ Taylor.
“It’s very unlike me, I don’t love going on stages,” Kelce confessed as he discussed his Eras Tour debut on the New Heights podcast he does with his brother Jason.
On Sunday, both Taylor and Travis made history in their respective fields. During the match, Kelce became the fastest tight end in league history to record 12,000 career receiving yards. Roughly 30 minutes after Kelce’s big catch, Taylor took the stage for the final time on her iconic tour, the highest-grossing tour in music history.
