From the news of her pregnancy to becoming a mother, Drashti Dhami has shared several posts with her social media fam showcasing her journey towards motherhood. After the arrival of their first child and giving a glimpse of her room, the couple have now decided to reveal the name of their daughter on the platform.

On November 28, the couple took to Instagram to share a joint post as they posted a photo of them holding the little foot of their baby girl and captioned it saying, “Say hello to (flower emoji) Leela” and also added the name in Hindi and Urdu. While they did not share the reason behind giving her this special name, they received a lot of love from their friends, family, and fans. Mouni Roy shared her happiness over the name and said, “Beautiful <3” whereas Rubina Dilaik, who is also a mother to twins, added, “Lovely Leela <3”. “Loveeee that name <3 and those little toes,” actress Aashka Goradia wrote. Apart from them, Drashti’s BFFs Nakuul Mehta and Sanaya Irani, along with other popular actors like Surbhi Jyoti, Aditi Dev Sharma, Sunayana Fozdar, Siddhant Karnick, her Dill Mill Gaye co-star Karan Singh Grover, and others also appreciated the name and showered their love on the baby.
Drashti Dhami, who is best known for her performances in television shows like Dill Mill Gaye, Geet, Madhubala, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, tied the knot with businessman Neeraj Khemka in 2015. After sharing the news with their social media fam in June this year, the couple welcomed their first child on October 22.
On the work front, the actress was recently seen in the second season of her popular web-series Duranga in which she essays the role of a cop.
