NEW DELHI: The Election Commission on Tuesday directed the CBDT to verify any mismatch in affidavit details submitted by Union minister and BJP candidate from Thiruvananthapuram Rajeev Chandrashekhar.
This comes after a complaint filed by Congress regarding mismatch in actual and declared assets in his affidavit.
Any mismatch and falsification of affidavit is dealt under Section 125 A of the RP Act 1951.
