The biggest celebration of the year 2025 is definitely the Maha Kumbh. One of the most popular and adored actors of the Bhojpuri film industry, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot reached Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh to enjoy the ‘shahi snaan’ in the Triveni Sangam— the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mystical Saraswati rivers.
Vikrant who appeared in the TV show Vidya essaying the role of Avtaar Singh said, “I feel lucky enough to enjoy the blessings of the universe while attending the Maha Kumbh. If one asks me, why I’m here! I’ll surely say to feel the magical environment filled with blessings from God themselves, the mother universe and for sure from the devotees around. The time I’m spending here will always be in my heart forever. I’m grateful!”
Vikrant ahead of Maha Shivratri, also revealed being a shiv devotee in real life. He continued, “My audience must have known me for my roles, which are different from one another, from playing a hero to a villain! But in real life I’m a very simple guy who is a huge devotee of Lord Shiva. Whenever I’m free and not shooting I try to visit places that connect me to the universe, the charm of natural beauty and peace that helps me feel the presence of God. I enjoy meditation and connect myself to the lord, leaving everything aside.”

Vikrant married actress Mona Lisa in January 2017. She is currently shooting for a TV show Prem Leela. Vikrant was a contestant on Nach Baliye Season 8 along with her and the duo got married in Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show, Bigg Boss.
“For Shivratri, I will be in Mumbai. Me and my wife Monalisa shifted to a new house here in Mumbai. This is our dream house and this is our first Maha Shivratri in this house. So we will be offering our prayers and doing rituals together and celebrate the festival,” he concluded.
Mahashivratri is one of the most significant Hindu festivals dedicated to Lord Shiva while celebrating his wedding anniversary with his mother Shakti. This year 2025, India is celebrating the holy festival on Wednesday, February 26, which will also mark the end of the Maha Kumbh celebration.
