Bigg Boss 17‘s first runner-up Abhishek Kumar shares a close bond with the Udaariyaan team, especially Ankit Gupta. His close bond with Ankit and the show’s team was evident as they rallied behind him, offering their unwavering support throughout his time on the show. After the Bigg Boss finale, Abhishek was thrilled to learn about Ankit’s support for him. He expressed gratitude for Ankit’s consistent support throughout his journey. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Abhishek shared his bond with Ankit Gupta and revealed that the Junooniyatt actor was the one who suggested his name to the Bigg Boss team.

Talking about his love for Ankit Gupta, Abhishek Kumar told ETimes TV at the BB 17 finale, “Yes, I got to know that Ankit Gupta bhai supported me when I was inside the house. Ankit bhai ke wajah se hi main yahan par hoon, he taught me acting, got me into fitness. When someone spoke to him about Bigg Boss, he suggested my name for the show. Ankit bhai was the one who suggested my name to the Bigg Boss team. He gave my reference to them and today I’m here only because of him. I’m going to meet Ankit bhai and Priyanka soon. I will touch his feet and take his blessings.”

Abhishek kept his promise and after coming out of the show, he actually met Abhishek and Priyanka and celebrated his Bigg Boss 17 journey with them. Videos and photos from the celebrations went viral on social media, where Abhishek was seen hugging Ankit and getting emotional meeting him after three and a half months. Ankit is also very fond of Abhishek and considers him as his younger brother. He always supported Abhishek over Isha Malviya, who was also his co-stars in Udaariyaan and was paired opposite him.
The Bekaaboo actor is enjoying all the love and adulation that is coming his way after the Bigg Boss show.
