Sharvari has impressed both audiences and critics with her versatile performances. After her big-screen success in Munjya, she continued to make waves with the globally popular streaming hit Maharaj and the critically acclaimed Vedaa. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the young actor shared insights into the complexities of working with multiple accents while shooting for these projects, giving a glimpse into the hard work that goes into perfecting her roles.

Sharvari’s Accent Struggles: From Marathi to Gujarati and Rajasthani
In Maharaj, Sharvari played a Gujarati character, while in Vedaa, she portrayed a Rajasthani girl. Balancing these roles required her to adopt vastly different accents. Reflecting on the challenges, she shared, “It was tough, especially because I’m Maharashtrian, and when I was auditioning earlier, someone had told me that I had a very strong Marathi accent in my Hindi. I worked hard to overcome that, taking diction classes and working with coaches to refine my language skills.”
Sharvari explained that her Marathi background, coupled with her use of “Bambaiya Hindi” in everyday life, made mastering these new dialects a daunting task. Despite the hurdles, her dedication paid off. She said, “Moving from Rajasthani to Gujarati and back again was a challenge. At one point, I was prepping for Vedaa but accidentally found myself speaking Gujarati. I was like, ‘Oh my God, how did this happen?’ It was like a khichdi of languages.”
The Learning Curve on Set
Sharvari admitted that, during the shooting of Vedaa, her co-actors seemed to pick up the Rajasthani accent faster than she did, which led to some moments of self-doubt. “I was the last actor to get the Rajasthani accent. Everyone around me was learning it faster than I was, and I felt stuck between Gujarati and Marathi,” she said with a laugh. However, her perseverance ensured that her final performance was flawless.
Speaking of the professional front, she is currently preparing for her next film, Alpha, co-starring Alia Bhatt.
