In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, actress Urvashi Rautela reflected on her journey in the film industry. She revealed the most challenging aspects of building a successful career in Bollywood. “I think the challenging part for any talented actor is always to have that role, you know, a film, a project where you actually feel it has the potential to do something good for your career,” she shared.

Emphasising the importance of the right collaborations, she added, “From the start itself, it’s very important to have the right projects and to work with the right directors. Otherwise, everything is just, you know… so yeah, I think that is the most challenging part, to work with the right set of directors who are working with the right intention.”
When asked about her future roles, Urvashi excitedly spoke about her recent action-oriented performance. “Just a month ago Daaku Maharaaj was released, in which I played the role of a police officer, and it had some amazing action sequences,” she said. “There was a lot of good scope for action, and I really enjoy doing action too. But I really hope I get a full-fledged action film. That would be even more fun!”
Talking about her dream collaborations, Urvashi named some of the biggest directors in the industry with whom she would like to work in the near future. “There are many directors I like, like S. S. Rajamouli, Sukumar Bandreddi, Prashanth Neel, and you know, Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. So, I like Rajkumar Hirani as well,” she said.
When asked about the actors she hasn’t worked with yet but would love to collaborate with, Urvashi didn’t hesitate to express her admiration. She responded, “I love Shah Rukh Khan, I love Salman Khan. I want to work with Shah Rukh Khan and I also want to work with Salman Khan.”
