‘Family Star’ box office collection day 5: Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur’s film touches Rs 16 crore mark in India | Telugu Movie News

Vijay Deverakonda‘s ‘Family Star‘ has completed five days in theaters since its release on April 5. The movie was released in both Tamil and Telugu. Directed by Parasuram Petla, this film featured Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady. On the first day, it collected Rs 5.75 crore at the box office.
According to Sacnilk, ‘Family Star’ could show a slight rise on its first Tuesday compared to the previous day.It earned an estimated Rs 2.40 crore in theaters on April 9. The previous day’s collection was Rs 1.3 crore. The total it has garnered as of now is Rs 16 crore. Telugu occupancy is marked as 24.77 percent, while the Tamil occupancy rate for the movie is 15.45 percent on day 5.

The film started facing backlash after the release day, which was claimed as an aftereffect of a negative campaign run by some social media handles against Vijay. The makers and fans association of VD reportedly lodged a complaint following this targeted special media attack.
