After sharing a glimpse of his personal life recently during the launch of his father Javed Akhtar and his best friend and co-writer Salim Khan’s docuseries Angry Young Men, it seems that Farhan has taken on the role of a director as he has kicked off his next venture.

Not just that, Farhan Akhtar even teased his social media followers by dropping a hint about his next project on his platform. While the actor-filmmaker rarely shares such tidbits, his recent post has definitely sparked curiosity among netizens who too are sharing their guesses about this film. Farhan posted a beautiful and picturesque photo of the famous Ladakh valleys in his recent Instagram post and along with that he also penned a caption about returning to shoot his film as he said, “Back in Ladakh after Lakshya and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to shoot for a very special film.” He further piqued the interest of the social media users by adding, “Details to be revealed soon. Watch this space.”
This prompted the fans to share their guesses about which film the filmmaker kicked off. Many of them guessed that the filmmaker-producer may have started work on his highly anticipated Don 3 which will star Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani has reportedly been paired opposite the actor. Whereas some of them have requested the filmmaker to create sequels for films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Chahta Hai. Some have even guessed that the filmmaker may have kicked off work on Jee Le Zaraa.
For the unversed, while Don 3 is an action-thriller originally featuring Shah Rukh Khan as the titular character with Ranveer taking over the reign from the Bollywood superstar, Jee Le Zaraa is expected to be a women-centric road trip drama which reportedly is said to feature Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
