GHAZIABAD: At least four people were charred to death after a fire broke out in a house due to a short circuit on Sunday morning in Ghaziabad, officials said.
A 32-year-old woman and her two children were among the four people who lost their lives.
The incident occurred while the family was asleep in their home.
After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered the bodies inside the house, Chief Fire Officer Rahul said.
The victims were identified as 32-year-old Gulbahar and her two young sons.
Additionally, a son of their relative, who lived in the same residence, was among the casualties.
Shahnawaz, Gulbahar’s spouse, survived the incident without any injuries.
