RANCHI: Two days after questioning him for over seven hours in a Ranchi land scam and money laundering case, the ED has summoned Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren again to record his statement between Jan 27 and 31.
The fresh summons were issued soon after the state police registered a case under non-bailable sections against CRPF officers for alleged violation of Section 144 of CrPC when Soren was being questioned on Saturday.
CRPF personnel had been called near the CM house as there were protests by workers of JMM and Bhim Army. Police have registered case against the JMM workers and others for similar offences, but under bailable sections.
