Amid rumours of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin undergoing a revamp, a new set of exits have come to the forefront. After Bhavika Sharma revealed details of her exit from the ongoing Star Plus series, her co-star Hitesh Bharadwaj and Shezaan Khan are also bidding adieu to the hit show. While Hitesh has expressed his happiness over receiving a break from his hectic schedule, Sheezan has penned an emotional note as he completed his part on the show.

Hitesh Bharadwaj reveals that ‘such leaps’ have become a trend on Indian Television
After his co-star Bhavika Sharma revealed that all the characters will be exiting the show, Hitesh Bharadwaj was seen talking about the future of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin to ETimes. In the report, he was quoted saying, “The show is not taking a leap because there were any issues. We had a very good storyline and it was time now to let the story move ahead. Finite shows are the future and slowly every show is taking a leap after 7-8 months and a new story takes over in the show. It was great teamwork, and I enjoyed working with Bhavika Sharma and the entire team.”
However, the actor did express that he is also a little sad about exiting the show. “I have mixed feelings about the leap. While on one hand I feel there was still scope for the show to continue for a few months, on the other hand I feel eight months is a good run for any show in these times”, he shared.
However, he maintained that he is happy about being able to play a dad in the series. “The best part about this role was how I got to play a father in this show and understood how a father goes through a lot of emotions when it comes to raising his kids. I am glad I played this role and feel that after playing many interesting roles, the year 2024 helped me achieve a certain level in my career,” he added.
Sheezan Khan bids farewell
Unfortunately, Sheezan Khan, who recently entered the show as Savi’s childhood friend Anubhav Deshmukh, will also not be a part of the show. He said,”Sooooooooo what can i say about this one! Itna kam dino me itna saara pyaar!!! Truly a Happy New Year! I can never forget this beautiful journey of #GHKKPM got to meet amazing people brilliant artists and this wonderful audience. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is a romantic drama which started off with a love triangle between Sai, Virat, and Patralekha, and is loosely inspired by the Bengali series Kusum Dola. A generational leap was introduced about two years ago with Bhavika Sharma taking over as Savi Virat Chavan, daughter of Sai and Virat, and since then, the show has focusing on her trials and tribulations.
