Former Congress MP and Mumbai president Sanjay Nirupam on Wednesday was expelled for a period of six years, citing indiscipline and anti-party statements.Professor Gourav Vallabh joined the Bharatiya Janata Party hours after resigning from all posts and membership of the Congress party on Thursday. Citing reasons for his exit, he said that he can “neither raise anti-Sanatan slogans nor abuse weather creators” everyday.
