With just four days remaining for its theatrical release, a new trailer of Ground Zero has been officially unveiled by Excel Entertainment. The gripping promo introduces audiences to a world of tense border conflicts, national duty, and human endurance — with Emraan Hashmi in a transformative role that marks a significant shift in his filmography.

The trailer is packed with moments that promise a visceral cinematic experience — from gritty combat scenes and covert tactical operations to emotionally charged glimpses of family life behind the uniform. Hashmi portrays a character that is not only commanding but also extremely layered, with a mix of restraint and intensity that reflects the psychological weight carried by those in the line of fire.
Directed by Tejas Deoskar, Ground Zero is inspired by one of the most intense missions undertaken by the Border Security Force (BSF) in the last 50 years. Emraan Hashmi stars as Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, a dedicated officer caught in the middle of a high-stakes operation that tests his courage, leadership, and emotional resilience. Sai Tamhankar plays the role of Dubey’s wife, adding depth and emotional complexity to the story. Her presence in the trailer hints at the silent sacrifices made by families of armed personnel, and the human cost of national service.
Filmed against rugged terrains and atmospheric backdrops, Ground Zero combines realistic visuals with a haunting background score that heightens the narrative’s emotional and dramatic weight. An Excel Entertainment Production, Ground Zero is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, with co-producers Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy. As anticipation builds, Ground Zero is slated for a theatrical release on April 25, 2025, and promises to be a gripping, grounded tribute to India’s security forces and their untold stories of bravery.
