Hero Future Energies Private Limited (HFEPL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka on Saturday for investing ₹11,000 crore in setting up projects in Renewable Energy, Green Hydrogen, and its derivatives in Karnataka.
HFEPL’s proposed projects in Karnataka will involve a total investment of ₹11,000 crore over 2-3 years starting in 2025-26. These initiatives are expected to generate nearly 3,000 jobs in Karnataka, according to a statement.
The Government of Karnataka would facilitate the requisite permissions, approvals, and incentives to ensure the projects are established in a time-bound manner under the state’s prevailing policies and regulations, said Industries Minister M.B. Patil while signing the MoU in London.
This initiative forms a key pillar of the state’s comprehensive preparations for the Global Investors Meet, Invest Karnataka 2025, aimed at creating a competitive and digitally advanced industrial ecosystem, said the Minister.
