New Characters: Myth Meets Mechanic
Version 3.4 sees a crossover first with top-tier limited 5-star Saber and Archer character(s) being introduced into Honkai: Star Rail from a special Fate collaboration. Both franchises’ fans try to speculate about the lore implications of this crossover, especially while HoYoverse tries its hand at multi-IP storytelling.
- Phainon: Considered a 5-star Destroyer/Physical unit to enter the scene during Phase 1 of Version 3.4, her banner in North America will probably have a run time from July 1 to 23, 2025 (a day later for Asia/EU servers). Great for her Poise narrative artillery will also be the Force of Hard-Hitting combat power.
- Saber: Destruction/Wind, it is speculated that Saber will focus on AoE damage and high agility, best suited for quick-turn compositions.
- Archer: As a Hunt/Quantum specialist, Archer will probably be cast as a single-target DPS with utmost precision, almost contrary to Saber, who will remain potent against multiple targets.
