Days after Israel carried out airstrikes on Yemen’s Sanaa Airport and destroyed last aircraft of the Arab nation’s flagship carrier, the Houthis have vowed revenge. Yemen’s Supreme Political Council chief Mahdi Al-Mashat has threatened Tel Aviv, saying that his forces will “soon turn the enemy’s aircraft into a source of ridicule. On May 29, Israel had pounded Sanaa airport for the second time in the month, in response to constant missile attacks by Iran-backed Houthis on its civilian areas.
