Indian diplomats have reportedly rejected U.S.’ request to take action against Russian media outlets, like RT News. The Hindu quoted a few unnamed officials as saying that India doesn’t adhere to unilateral sanctions that are not imposed by the UN and that the country will continue to pursue an independent foreign policy. The report came days after U.S. secretary of state announced sanctions against Russian media.
