India vs Sri Lanka, U19 Asia Cup 2024 Semi-Final, Highlights: Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit a quickfire 67 as India thumped Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in Sharjah to book their place in the final of the U19 Asia Cup. Chasing 174, Suryvanshi hit 67 off just 36 balls as India achieved the target in just 21.4 overs. They will face Bangladesh, who defeated Pakistan in the other semi-final, in the summit clash. Earlier, Lakvin Abeysinghe slammed a gritty 69 but Sri Lanka were bowled out for 173 in their U19 Asia Cup semi-final against India in Sharjah. Sri Lanka opted to bat first, but India reduced them to 3/8 inside the first four overs. Abeysinghe and Sharujan Shanmuganathan added 93 runs for the 4th wicket to bring Sri Lanka back into the contest. For India, Chetan Sharma bagged three scalps while Ayush Mhatre and Kiran Chormale took two each. (Scorecard)
