India’s high commissioner to Canada Sanjay Verma said India is not cooperating with Canada’s probe into the murder of Sikh separatist Hardeep Nijjar.
Former Canadian NSA Jody Thomas had last week said there was an evolution in India’s position as it was now aiding the probe into Nijjar’s killing.
In a recent interview, however, Verma said India will not provide information to investigators until Canada shares evidence it has gathered into the slaying of Nijjar, who was gunned down on June 18, 2023.
