Lucknow Super Giants was knocked out of the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after losing its match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Monday.
Lucknow needed to win all its remaining three games to be in the race for the Playoffs. Super Giants are currently seventh in the standings, with 10 points from 12 games.
Despite the win, Hyderabad continued to languish at the eighth position, with nine points from 12 matches.
