The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) will organise a public convention named ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan’ in Belagavi on January 28 and central leaders of the party will attend it.
The programme, which was initially scheduled for December 27, 2024, was cancelled following the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The two-day programme was planned as a part of the centenary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi presiding over the Congress session in Belagavi.
KPCC president and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Tuesday called on AICC organisational secretary and MP K.C. Venugopal and held discussions on the event.
