Jasmine took to Instagram Stories to reassure her fans about her recovery. She shared a picture of herself wearing large sunglasses with a caption that read, “Better now, recovering. Thank you for your love and blessings.” The actress had previously disclosed that the corneal damage began on July 17, when she wore faulty contact lenses for an event in Delhi. Jasmine described the pain as intense and worsening, leading her to seek medical attention immediately after the event.
Doctors’ diagnosis and treatment
According to Jasmine, an eye specialist diagnosed her with damaged corneas and bandaged her eyes. She rushed back to Mumbai for further treatment, experiencing significant pain that affected her daily activities. Fortunately, Jasmine did not have to postpone her professional commitments. Her doctors anticipate a recovery period of four to five days, during which she is advised to take special care of her eyes.
