NEW DELHI: JMM vice president Champai Soren on Friday took oath as the Chief minister of Jharkhand at the Raj Bhavan in Ranchi. Soren, after taking oath, will offer tributes to the statues of Mahamta Gandhi and Birsa Munda in Ranchi. He is also expected to chair a brief cabinet meeting and then fly out to Pakur to receive Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra when it enters Jharkhand, party sources said.
