Amid many big names from the Bollywood industry who came together to celebrate Indian Cinema and its achievements at the India Film Project aka IFP festival in Mumbai, joining the guests was Hollywood star Joseph Gordon-Levitt who attended a masterclass where he exchanged several innovative ideas and discussed his journey with the Indian audience. The class was hosted by Stree 2 actor Rajkummar Rao, who is currently on a career high, considering the recently released horror comedy, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, received immense applause from the audience.

While discussing the success of Indian Cinema, Rajkummar Rao opened up about his recent success with Stree 2 and on audience’s demand, he decided to do a little hook step from the film’s popular song ‘Aayi Nai’. He also asked Joseph Gordon-Levitt and knowing the sport that he is, he immediately agreed. After a brief tutorial of how to do the step, Rajkummar and Joseph set the stage on fire and audiences enthralled as they did the hook step in complete sync. The video seems to have gained a lot of momentum on social media as soon as it hit the internet. Fans too dropped heart emojis showering their love on the dance clip.
For the unversed, Rajkummar Rao reprised the famous role of Vicky in Stree 2 which also starred Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles as it released in theatres on August 15. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is an essential part of the Dinesh Vijan aka Maddock Supernatural Universe.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkummar Rao recently had a release this Friday with Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Vala Video marking his first venture with actress Triptii Dimri. The film also features Mallika Sherawat after a hiatus along with Tiku Talsania, Archana Puran Singh and many such seasoned actors in key roles. The film released in cinemas for Dussehra on October 11 as it clashed with Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina starrer Jigra.
