‘Kanguva’ makers claim that movie will gross Rs 2000 crore worldwide | Tamil Movie News

The Tamil film ‘Kanguva‘ is gearing up for its release in theatres on November 14. Directed by Siva, the epic period action violent drama stars Suriya in the lead role. The movie was initially set for its release in theatres on October 10, but as the makers did not want it to clash with the Rajinikanth starrer ‘Vettaiayan‘, and postponed the movie release.
Now, talking to a Tamil YouTube channel, producer Gnanavel Raja claimed that ‘Kanguva’ will gross more than Rs 2,000 crore worldwide.Expressing his confidence, the producer stated that Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ will mark and break the records to be the first Tamil film to earn more than Rs 1000 crore and join the club of ‘RRR’, ‘Baahubali’ and ‘KGF’.
He also promised to share the receipts and earnings of the film on social media and mentioned that he believes the film will go great heights all over the world and said he is expecting the movie to earn Rs 2000 crore. ‘Kanguva’ is said to appear on the big screens after 2 years from the announcement of the film, and features Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu and Natarajan Subramaniam. The music for it is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and the technical crew of the film consists of cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy and editor Nishadh Yusuf. The movie will be released in 3D in more than 10 languages, and the makers recently confirmed that all languages will have Suriya’s voice, as they have decided to use AI in the dubbing process.
