Karnataka has attracted foreign direct investment (FDI) to the tune of $3.54 billion during the first six months of fiscal 2025, as per data released by Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) on December 3.
According to DPIIT, during the April-September 2024 period, Karnataka reaffirmed its position as a global investment destination by securing the second rank in India for FDI.
‘‘The State attracted an impressive $3.54 billion in FDI during this period, showcasing its robust economic environment and investor-friendly policies,’‘ said M.B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries.
The Minister said, the achievement was a testament to the Congress-led Karnataka government’s proactive approach to fostering growth through strategic policies and initiatives.
‘’The State’s consistent focus on innovation, ease of doing business, and infrastructure development has made it a magnet for global investors,’‘ Mr. Patil stated.
