NEW DELHI: Karnataka deputy chief minister and state Congress president DK Shivakumar has alleged that he received an Income Tax notice on Friday night.
Shivakumar added that the notice pertained to an issue which had already been settled.
He disclosed this while talking to media persons on the IT notices to Congress.
“There is democracy in this country. There is a law. The BJP government is directing the officials and taking this kind of action,” said Shivakumar.
He asserted that the INDIA bloc will defeat the NDA that’s why they are trying to create fear in opposition. “They are targeting the opposition, which means they are afraid of the Congress and the INDIA Alliance.
“The INDIA Alliance is going to defeat the NDA. The BJP has understood this weakness. They know they will lose the elections. Hence they are trying to create fear. Yesterday night, I also got a notice from I-T for a matter which is already settled,” he added.
