The Karnataka Legislative Assembly session continued till late in the evening on Wednesday.
Speaker U.T. Khader conducted the session without adjourning the House for lunch and dinner. He asked the members to take a break individually for lunch and dinner.
The session was convened at 9.45 a.m. It continued for more than 12 hours without any break. The Speaker refused to adjourn the session even after repeated requests from members. He said he was committed to completing the agenda of the day.
