About a couple of days ago, new promo of September 16’s upcoming episode, from the ongoing show Kaun Banega Crorepati, aka KBC 16, was unveiled on social media. In the promo featuring a contestant named Trishul Singh Choudhary, audiences witnessed a change that has never happened in the history of this reality-quiz show. For the first time in the history of Kaun Banega Crorepati, a show that has been running on television for decades, the host Amitabh Bachchan will be seen changing the rules of the game for a 30-year-old software engineer from Bokaro, Jharkhand. And it is being said that upon hearing his story, Big B was so touched that he decided to bend the rules a little.

From what we hear, Trishul’s journey is a testament to resilience and determination since he copes with a lifelong challenge. However, having received steadfast support of his family, he has come a long way. While taking his place on the hot seat, he admitted that although he arrived with great confidence, he is unsure how to broach certain segments in the game show due to his condition. The compassionate host, however, hugged Trishul, and took the decision to alter some rules in the gameplay. This sweet gesture from the senior actor definitely has left fans emotional.
A glimpse of the same was shared on social media by the channel Sony Entertainment Television on their official handle wherein they also mentioned about this sweet gesture in the caption, saying, “KBC ke itihas mein pehli baar kyu ek contestant ke liye badle niyam? Dekhiye #KaunBanegaCrorepati, Mon – Fri raat 9 baje sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par.”
For the unversed, Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with its 16th season on Sony Entertainment Television featuring India’s favorite host, Amitabh Bachchan. KBC 16 airs from Monday to Friday at 9 PM.
