Known fondly as the melody king of the 90s, Kumar Sanu decided to ring in the New Year in a special way this year. As a dedication to his fans, the singer dropped a fresh romantic track titled ‘Sau Dil Gar’ along with Sarbarish Majumder who has penned down the beautiful lyrics and has also composed the music. The single was unveiled on January 1, 2024 across all digital platforms under label ‘Audio7’.

This romantic single is produced by Amrik Singh Khatri and the making of the song was recently shot in the studio. On being asked about the song, singer Kumar Sanu said, “It is a vibrant romantic song, portraying the bond of lovers which is exactly my genre. I loved every moment of singing and recording the song. It was amazing to collaborate with Sarbarish, who is the music director and the lyricist of the song. His lyrics matched the emotions of the song and hopefully my voice added a sense of depth & nuance to it. I look forward to seeing the reaction from the audiences for the song and hope it will bring smiles to people’s faces this new year.”
When asked Sarbarish about his experience of working with the legendary Kumar Sanu, he said, “I am thrilled to collaborate with Kumar Sanu and feel grateful for the experience. I have learnt a lot from him and loved every bit of it. We have worked hard on this song and hope as a team we have done justice to it.”
The song falls under the genre of a love ballad and aims at captivating the audience and promises to be number which will make them listen to it on loop.
