The much-awaited teaser for the Mohanlal-starrer ‘L2: Empuraan‘ is finally out, and the movie, which is a sequel to the Malayalam blockbuster hit ‘Lucifer‘, is creating great buzz. The official teaser was unveiled today (January 26) during a grand event in Kochi. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the movie will see Mohanlal reprising his role as Stephen Nedumbally, also known as Abraam Khureshi.

The two-minute and twenty-three-second teaser is a visual treat, filled with electrifying action and subtle hints about the movie’s intense storyline. While Mohanlal’s powerful portrayal of good versus evil dominates the teaser, glimpses of supporting characters played by Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas, and Manju Warrier add layers of intrigue.

Tovino’s Jathin Ramdas makes a striking opening appearance, setting the tone for the narrative. Prithviraj’s enigmatic Zayed Masood is revealed toward the end, leaving viewers curious about his role in the sequel. Manju Warrier’s character, shrouded in mystery, makes only a fleeting impression, heightening anticipation.

Actor Mammootty graced the grand event to unveil the teaser, and he was seen showering praise on the crew while wishing all the success for the movie.
Apart from the core cast, ‘L2: Empuraan’ features a stellar ensemble including Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Arjun Das, Saikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sachin Khedekar, and Baiju Santhosh. Promising to deliver an edge-of-the-seat cinematic experience, the film is set for a grand release on March 27, across five languages. The 2019 movie ‘Lucifer’ is currently the sixth-highest-grossing Malayalam film.
