Lalu appears before ED in Patna; Delhi court calls Rabri, daughters on February 9 | India News

A special PMLA court in Delhi has summoned former Bihar CM Rabri Devi, her daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav and her ‘gaushala’ employee Hridyanand Chaudhary on Feb 9 for the trial to begin, taking cognisance of a chargesheet filed against them in a railways jobs-for-land scam.
Meanwhile, RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad faced interrogation by ED officers for almost 10 hours on Monday in Patna as part of the agency’s probe into the money laundering linked to the railways’ alleged land-for-jobs scam.Lalu, accompanied by his MP daughter Misa Bharti, reached the ED office in Patna at 11am and didn’t step out until around 9pm.
Lalu and his family members are accused of taking bribes in the form of land parcels in return for jobs offered in railways when the former was the railway minister during the UPA regime.
