Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan is celebrating her birthday today, April 5. As she turns a year older, her mother, the veteran actress Lissy Lakshmi, has shared something intriguing about her.
In a video message, Lissy Lakshmi expressed that since Kalyani was born into a family with a background in the entertainment industry, people often think that her background helped her get all these films; however, that isn’t the case.Lissy stated that Kalyani is where she is today only because of her merit and determination.
“Being born into a filmy family, people would’ve thought that had really helped her get into all these films. But trust me, it was her own merit and determination that got her to where she is today!” Lissy Lakshmi said.
Kalyani Priyadarshan was moved by her mom’s words of appreciation, especially on her birthday, and responded, “Oh wow, is that my mom speaking?”
