Although chemotherapy is behind her, she said that the road ahead remains challenging.“My path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” she said. Nonetheless, she expressed optimism about returning to work and resuming public engagements in the coming months.
Throughout her battle, Kate noted how it has brought her and Prince William closer, helping them appreciate the simple yet profound things in life. “This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved,” she added.
Grateful for the outpouring of support, the Princess said that the kindness and empathy of others have been “truly humbling.” She also offered words of encouragement to those still battling cancer, saying, “To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.”
Since her diagnosis, the Princess of Wales has made only two public appearances—at the Trooping the Colour in June and Wimbledon in July, where she was met with a standing ovation. Despite her health challenges, she has been holding regular meetings from home and spending time with her family.
