Two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati won the Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on Sunday, taking the battle for the title with Prima Pramac Racing’s Jorge Martin to the season finale.
Championship leader Jorga Martin finished second while Enea Bastianini, Bagnaia’s teammate, took the final place on the podium.
The final race of the season was supposed to be held in Valencia on November 15-17 but MotoGP on Friday cancelled the race due to floods in Spain and said it would announce a new venue and date for the same.
Martin has 485 points while Bagnaia is on 461. Martin can seal the title by winning the sprint at the final weekend of the season.
