In a tragic incident, the husband of a 19-year-old pregnant woman from Belagavi who passed away following pregnancy-related complications in Hubballi made an attempt to end his life here on Tuesday. He is in hospital now.
Radhika Mallesh Gaddiholi was shifted from BIMS Hospital in Belagavi to KMC-RI Hospital in Hubballi for further treatment on Saturday and she breathed her last on Tuesday. The woman had her lost eight-month-old baby in the womb itself.
After he was informed about his wife’s death, Mallesh reportedly made an attempt to end his life. He is now being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of KMC-RI Hospital.
