MANGALURU: The Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, an active wing of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), is dedicated to organising theatre-related activities for students and audiences throughout the year. The annual festivals organised by this wing have successfully provided a platform for both emerging and established theatre artists and troupes, while also cultivating an audience capable of appreciating and critically evaluating art.
In continuation of this journey, an upcoming theatre festival is set to captivate audiences in and around the city.St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, in collaboration with Astitva (R), Mangaluru, Arehole Prathishtana, JCI Mangalore, and Lalbhag, is organising the ‘National Multilingual Theatre Festival-2024’ from Sep 14 to Sep 17 at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University). The festival will showcase a total of five plays in three different languages, performed by teams from three different states.
The festival will be inaugurated by Melvyn Rodriguez, Convenor of the Konkani Sahitya Akademi and Founder of Kavita Trust. The event will be graced by Gurudutt Bantwalkar, CEO of Proto Upskill.
The event starts at 6.30 pm and the venue is St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.
