Sumathi, the mother of Manjunath Rao, who died in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, has reacted to Operation Sindoor. Speaking to the media in Shivamogga on Wednesday, Sumathi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken the right decision. “We stand with the decision of our PM. If India is considered a family, the PM is head of the family. He has taken the right decision,” she said.

Manjunath Rao, a realtor in Shivamogga, died in the terror attack at Pahalgam on April 22. He is survived by his wife, son and mother.

NIA officials’ visit

Officials of the National Investigation Agency visited Rao’s family in Shivamogga on Tuesday evening and collected information about the Pahalgam attack from Palalvi, Rao’s wife. Ms. Sumathi told the media that NIA officials gathered information about the attack from the family members. Pallavi and her son Abhijay were witnesses to the incident. Outraged over Rao’s death, his wife and son wanted the terrorists to kill them too.
