Director Milap Zaveri recently took to social media to commemorate the five-year anniversary of his film Marjaavaan, which continues to hold a special place in his career. Zaveri called it his “second biggest hit” as a director, expressing gratitude for the film’s immense success. The movie, which was loved by audiences, is remembered not only for its gripping storyline but also for its chart-topping music.

Mass Appeal and Iconic Performances
Marjaavaan starred Sidharth Malhotra as the intense hero Raghu, who became a symbol of mass appeal. Zaveri celebrated Malhotra’s portrayal of a character that was “mass personified,” referencing Raghu’s fierce determination and powerful presence. The film also featured Riteish Deshmukh in the role of Vishnu, a villain who was “Kamineypan ki height,” and Rakul Preet Singh, whose performance as Aarzoo was hailed for portraying unrequited love and strength.

Zaveri took a moment to thank the team behind the success of Marjaavaan.
