NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi on Friday hailed the immense contributions of former PMs PV Narasimha Rao and Chaudhary Charan Singh, and MS Swaminathan, praising Rao for his “transformative economic policies“, Singh for his “advocacy for farmers” and Swaminathan for his “ground-breaking work in agriculture”.
The PM emphasised Rao’s leadership in various roles and lauded Rao’s vision, which facilitated India’s economic advancement and laid the groundwork for its prosperity.
