Muslim-owned company grants holiday to 500 Hindu staff for Ayodhya’s Lord Ram consecration | India News

RAIPUR: Fostering communal harmony, a private company owned by a Muslim man at Tendua village of Hirapur industrial area within the state capital Raipur has declared Monday as a holiday for its 500 Hindu employees on the occasion of the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. The owner of the company has also announced to lit 1001 ‘Ram Jyoti’ (lamps) on the occasion.
Company chairman Aliquian Zafer Imdadiwala told TOI that when the consecration of Lord Shri Ram Ji’s idol in Ayodhya is taking place, is a matter of pride for the entire world. On this day, the longstanding aspiration of Indians worldwide is being fulfilled as Lord Rama’s arrival in his birthplace, Ayodhya, is celebrated.
“To mark this historic day, I grant a special holiday on Monday. Additionally, at 5 pm on the same day, all employees are invited for a one-hour gathering in the plant premises, where ‘Jai Shri Ram’ will be written with 1001 lamps. This message, initiated by the Bohra community, will be the first of its kind globally, asserting that Lord Shri Ram is not just revered by Hindus but is an ideal figure for the entire Bohra community and the world,” he said.
The celebration of this brotherhood will include a grand festival with the lighting of lamps and fireworks, resembling a second Diwali in the plant, he said. In this event, the founder-director Mansoor Zafer, and Sabir Hussain, along with Muhammad Zafer, expressed that, just as Lord Shri Ram consistently upheld the path of truth throughout his life, every individual in India now has to make their lives meaningful. Similarly, Hussain Jafar emphasized that Lord Shri Ram is not only an ideal figure for Hindus but is also a revered figure for the entire Bohra community.
