NEW DELHI: Engaging with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, PM Modi said that the essence of electoral success lies within the triumph of individual polling booths. He urged the workers to strive towards exceeding past records diligently.
PM Modi highlighted that the “soul of victory in elections lies in the victory of the polling booth” and stressed that they “will have to work with a resolve to break all old records of the polling booths”.
He noted that opposition leaders tend to lose confidence when confronted with the fervor of BJP workers and urged them to focus on surpassing previous electoral achievements. Addressing a digital rally encompassing 22,648 booths across 10 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh via the NaMo App, PM Modi emphasized the significant role of BJP workers in setting new electoral benchmarks.
“Be it Lok Sabha elections or assembly polls, new records are being made due to your hard work. I am happy to see your enthusiasm but seeing your enthusiasm, other party leaders develop cold fee,” remarked Modi.
During the interaction, Prime Minister Modi connected with party workers from constituencies including Sambhal, Badaun, Bareilly, Aonla, Etah, Hathras, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, and Mainpuri.
These constituencies are scheduled for voting in the third phase of Lok Sabha polls on May 7.
