As India commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Kargil Vijay Diwas, J.P. Films, the production house known for its cinematic tributes to the Indian Armed Forces, decided to commemorate the day by paying a tribute to the sacrifices made by our soldiers. The social media platform of the production house, along with filmmaker JP Dutta and his daughter Nidhi Dutta, shared an emotional BTS reel from their war film, LOC Kargil, featuring an ensemble cast in the spirit of celebrating patriotism.

Nidhi Dutta, daughter of JP Dutta who’s taken the baton forward from her father, posted the reel along with a beautiful note that honours the courage and bravery of Indian soldiers. She wrote, “Kargil Vijay Diwas… day of Victory… Victory at the cost for the men we lost.. To the Boys that stood and fought… THANK YOU WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH… To the Boys who left us… WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU… To the families who sacrificed their sons for our safe tomorrow… WE ARE FOREVER INDEBTED… and to the Nation… we at J.P. Films will always live by the motto of #NATIONFIRST. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE TEAM THAT WORKED TO MAKE THIS FILM POSSIBLE AND IMMORTALISE OUR HEROES ON CELLULOID FOR THE GENERATIONS TO COME #kargilvijaydiwas #25yearsofkargil”
She went on to add in her note, “Our films are a tribute to the indomitable spirit of our soldiers,” said J.P. Dutta, the maker of iconic war dramas. “Today, as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Kargil War, it serves as a reminder of their unparalleled courage. It is our duty to keep their stories alive for generations to come. Every frame of our films is a homage to their bravery and sacrifice.”
LOC Kargil has not only entertained audiences but also served as tools in educating the nation about the challenges and sacrifices faced by our soldiers. The film featured popular actors like Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshaye Khanna, Nagarjuna, Manoj Bajpayee, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor, Esha Deol, Mahima Chaudhary, among others.
