PATNA: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday dismissed as “nonsensical” Congress leader Rahul Gandhi‘s claim that the caste survey in the state was conducted under pressure from the latter’s party.
Nitish also revealed, for the first time, that he had suggested other names for the opposition bloc, but they went ahead with “INDIA”. He accused Congress leadership of not taking any decision in the INDI Alliance.

Nitish said, “Everybody knows that the initiative was taken by me only. Now, people are taking credit… We decided to conduct the caste survey after taking a decision at a joint meeting of nine political parties. I got the caste survey conducted at my own level. Everything was done by me. Someone is trying to take credit,” Nitish said.
