Winter Session of Parliament: Lok Sabha witnessed an Akhilesh Yadav vs BJP debate on the Sambhal violence issue as the former alleged killing of innocent people in the police firing while the BJP denied the allegations.

Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday raised the issue of Sambhal violence in Lok Sabha and alleged that the incident was orchestrated as part of a “well-planned conspiracy”.

He said that people were shot dead and injured in the firing and asserted that bullets were fired on Sambhal’s harmony.

This comes as Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla allowed Akhilesh to speak on the matter during the Zero Hour. The Samajwadi Party had skipped the INDIA bloc’s protest against Adani in the Parliament complex before the start of the day’s proceedings today.

“Sambhal is known for its harmony. But the sudden incident that has taken place in a well-planned manner. Bullets have been fired at Sambhal’s harmony. The incident is a well-planned conspiracy. The talks of digging there by the BJP and its supporters will bring an end to the communal harmony in the country.

The by-polls in UP were earlier scheduled for November 13, they moved it to November 20,” Akhilesh said.

BJP Reacts Sharply To Accusation

BJP’s Amroha MP Kanwar Tanwar Singh rejected Akhilesh’s allegations and told CNN-News18 that no one died in the police firing and people died in the firing by the protestors.

“What happened in Sambhal is similar to what we saw in the Sabarmati Report. Akhilesh is speaking all lies,” he said.
