Secretary in charge of Mandya district Anbu Kumar on Saturday told the officials that there are no issues with conducting the crop survey and added that the survey must be 100% in the district.
“Thanks to good rains, sowing has been good in the district. Make sure there is no shortage of fertilisers and sowing seeds,” he said during the progress review meeting.
He said the multi-village drinking water distribution scheme has to be implemented effectively, and officers have to be posted for its monitoring. The officers must ensure that there is no contamination of drinking water.
Mr. Anbu Kumar said progress in the Rajiv Gandhi Housing Scheme needs improvement, and added that funds under the project were available. However, the progress in the housing project was not encouraging. “Make a list of panchayats where the progress has been less, and hold online meetings to ensure they meet the target,” the official told the meeting.
Deputy Commissioner Kumara briefed the meeting about the progress in Land Beat, Aadhaar Seeding, Bagair Hukum, Gruha Lakshmi, and details on the pending cases in the deputy commissioner, assistant commissioner and tahsildar courts.
Zilla Panchayat CEO Sheikh Tanveer Asif, Superintendent of Police Mallikarjuna Baladandi, and others were present.
