Whether she’s jet-setting for a shoot or stealing a few days away for herself, Vaani Kapoor approaches travel with equal parts practicality and personal flair. In a recent conversation with Travel Peacock Magazine, the actress opened up about her top five travel must-haves, and it’s clear she packs with both comfort and preparedness in mind.

For Vaani, travel isn’t just about reaching a destination; it’s about being prepared for the little surprises along the way. “Make sure to carry your chargers and multi-plug adapters,” she says. “There are times in hotels when they don’t have them, and then you find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere without an adapter or charger.” Technology can make or break a trip, and she swears by always keeping her electronics sorted to avoid any such mishaps.
Another essential on her list? A good pair of walking shoes. “I love walking,” Vaani shared. Whether it’s strolling through a local market or exploring a quiet street in a new city, she makes sure her feet are well taken care of with comfortable sneakers or shoes that can go the distance.
She’s also meticulous about her toiletries. “I hate running out of them while travelling,” she admitted. From shampoo to a toothbrush, she prefers carrying her own rather than depending on what hotels may or may not provide.
Financial preparedness is also a priority. Vaani never forgets to pack her Forex cards and essentials that keep travel logistics smooth, especially during longer international stays.
For someone who claims she could live in just “a white t-shirt, a black t-shirt, and blue jeans,” Vaani also knows how to dress up when the occasion calls for it. “If you plan to dine in fancy restaurants, be sure to bring a nice pair of heels and a formal dress because some restaurants have dress codes,” she advised.
And finally, even while on holiday, she likes to stay active. Packing her gym wear is a must for those longer breaks where a quick workout helps maintain routine and balance.
